As you know, the April showers washed away our Ocean City Golf Club meeting! Now with the 2017 Chesapeake Challenge coming up, we hope you will join us at Queenstown Harbor on May 30th. The Mid-Atlantic GCS has vowed that this will finally be their breakout year, but with your help and participation, I’m confident we can send them back across the Bay Bridge trophy-less.
New to this year’s format, we will be limiting the 2 man team match play field to the first 20 teams from the ESAGCS. We encourage ESAGCS members to finalize their teams and sign up on the website early to ensure your team has secured your spot in the tournament. Any additional teams will be allowed to attend and play in the event, but will not be counted in the team match play. As is customary, ESAGCS members are asked to wear blue shirts.
Lastly, we have new team bag towels for this this year’s event. To help offset the cost, we have increased our May monthly meeting fee $5. Members who have already pre-paid for their meetings can pay Hope the day of the event.
