The ESAGCS was a Rum Pointe Seaside Golf Links in Berlin, Maryland for it’s June membership meeting. We were treated to a spectacular day with comfortable temperatures and ample sunshine.
Chase Rogan, GCSAA Field Staff Representative for the Mid Atlantic Region was the guest speaker. Rogan touched on a variety of topics relevant to our region, as well as updating us on national association news and new initiatives.
One new program the GCSAA is rolling out is its "Grassroots Ambassadors" program. Taken from the programs website:
"The goal is to match a member of GCSAA with each Member of Congress, and to build strong relationships between them. The program will establish a network of committed volunteers to serve as the “go-to” people for lawmakers and their staff on golf course management issues"
