Dear members,
We wish to remind everyone that the State of Maryland will require us to be licensed fertilizer applicators beginning OCTOBER 1, 2013.
Please take the following steps in order to make sure you can become certified with the state:
* Review the "Maryland Professional Lawn Care Manual" as well as the study guide for the exam. Both manual and guide can be downloaded from the states website: http://mda.maryland.gov/Pages/fertilizer.aspx Look on the right hand side of the page under "Info for Lawn Care Pros" for download links.
*Register for one of the exams, locations and dates can be found in the new schedule and registration forms, also found under "Info for Lawn Care Pros"
Currently it looks like the nearest exam location is in Easton. A review session will take place before the exam is given. Times, dates and locations are given below:
